As Yichun’s first large-scale “Underwater World,” this million-yuan investment aquarium is located on the first floor of Gate 1 of Qinglong Commercial Building. Shanghai Lanhu Aquarium Engineering Co., Ltd. was entrusted with the full execution of this project, from early-stage planning and concept design to on-site construction, delivering an integrated turnkey solution.
The project features a 360° panoramic cylindrical design, standing 10 meters tall with an 8-meter diameter, capable of holding nearly 500 tons of seawater. It is the first large indoor aquarium of its kind in western Jiangxi, creating a landmark marine attraction within the commercial space.
Lanhu Aquarium used eight ultra-large custom acrylic panels, seamlessly spliced and cast in a single molding process. Acrylic offers exceptional transparency and outstanding pressure resistance, with impact strength dozens of times higher than ordinary glass, ensuring structural safety while delivering a fully immersive visual experience.
We understand that every design is meant to deliver an unprecedented experience for visitors. Therefore, the aquarium simulates a real marine ecosystem to ensure the health and harmony of marine life habitats. Inside the tank live dozens of marine species with more than 1,000 individuals, including whitetip reef sharks, leopard sharks, eagle rays, manta rays, Naso tangs, and parrotfish.
In addition to the marine life swimming freely, the aquarium also features highly anticipated mermaid performances, creating a dreamlike underwater tunnel experience where visitors can feel the mystery and beauty of the ocean.
